Wright had a hugely successful career, spanning over 70 years that included over 1,000 projects and over 500 completed works. Frank Lloyd Wright (1867 - 1959) also authored 20 books and countless articles during his career and in 1991 was recognised as "the greatest American architect of all time" by the American Institute of Architects.
